You have a purpose: Win Souls and Make Disciples..

The Great Commission

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

FACE to FACE

While I was having my meryenda, I turned on the TV and luckily, FACE TO FACE by TV5 network was on the screen.

The episode's story was about a Man who is already married to his Wife, yet managed to commit adultery to her. The sad thing, the 3rd party was his wife's sister.

They have been in the said hidden relationship for almost 5 years (with the kabit) and the man had already 6 children with his wife.

The show really wants to give insights to the sister of the man's wife that what they are doing is wrong and will never be right, but the girl insisted that he really loved the man. And so is the man that he doesn't want to break up with his kabit and he chose her rather than his wife.

I was so amazed with the wife's attitude that she was so silent the whole episode that most of the time the one talking in behalf of her was her daughter.

It was always been a part of the show that at the end of the episode that both sides will say something or have a message with each other. When the Host of the show asked the girl whether she would like to break up the relationship with her sister's husband, she strongly say NO.
Do you know what happened? I was shocked with the wife's reaction. She just nodded with tears to what her sister had said. And you could really see a heart that accepts everything just because she loved not only her husband, but also her sister.

And what amazed me most? when she said "Ok lng. Hindi naman sa ibang tao xa pumunta. Kapatid ko naman yan." then tears fell on her eyes..

Suddenly, a tear fell on mine as well..

Pondering on the situation,

Indeed when we are young, we really like to share toys with our sisters/brothers. But when we are old, I guess sharing a loved one is a taboo. Things like this happen rampantly specially in our generation, and it is a hurtful feeling. But do you know what's more hurtful? It is when the one doing such foolishness is the one you loved most and you are the one being fooled.

In the situation I don't know what the wife really felt during the episode, she loved her sister. She loved her husband. No matter what happen, your sister will always be your sister, and your brother will always be your brother. And regarding your husband/wife, you are united with him/her as what God had said what marriage is all about. I just admire how she manage to control herself and how she showed compassion and love to those people.

And for the man and his concubine, they might not fear the people around them or the law regarding the things they have done, but they must always put in their mind that they should fear God, for what the people and the law don't know about them, God knows all of those stuffs. And for whatever things they did, there are corresponding consequences. And I do believe that someday or somehow, all of us will going to meet God, FACE TO FACE. And I just pray that when that happens, we are all blameless and stainless in front of Him..
